Join us for an open house to welcome the beautiful works of Kathleen Blatt. Working in oils, Kathleen primarily paints landscapes and still life. She has studied with Steve Carpenter for over ten years and is a member of the New York Figure Study Guild. She has also studied with Deborah Bartlett and Kurt Moyer. According to Kathleen: “I try to put on canvas things that inspire or touch me in some way. Inspiration comes from nature, people, an old building, a stormy sky. My challenge is to plan how I want to portray those things on canvas. When I struggle, there are lessons to be learned.”
