Closing Reception for “A Tribute to the Human Figure” Figure Drawings of Sculptors and Painters. Artists: Sharon Locke, Dejan Pejovic, Lana Pejovic , Jim and Gail Thomas, Jono Peterson, Alan Brewen, Axel Kairies, Irving Pudetti and Debbie Phillips.This show will be featuring ten local painters and sculptors who have been drawing the figure for decades! All work are life drawings of the human figure from observation of a live model. The human figure is one of the most enduring theme in visual arts.One of the intentions of this exhibit is to bring greater awareness to the public of the creative interpretations possible in drawing the human form. “I have known each of these artist for years, we all are friends, respect each other’s work, and are looking forward to exhibiting together.” ~ Sharon Locke
