Destiny is a multimedia installation that explores our minds’ phantoms, unseen aspects of character, experience and emotion, that either propel us toward or prevent us from reaching our destiny. The installation embodies thirteen of these ephemeral phantoms as multi-colored, semi-translucent figures that range in height from 4 to 11 feet, which hang in thin air in a darkened room. Special lighting, video and performance and the mega-scale encaustic collage pieces combine to create a truly magical and unique environment. The viewer passes through and among the phantoms, his or her passing causing the phantoms to quiver, as if filled with emotional energies, pushing the boundaries of how we experience art. www.iGalleryKathyClem.com
