Entanglement by Su Begy
RoCo Upstairs
137 East Ave., Upstairs
Dec 2, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Su Begy’s ongoing project Entanglement continues this First Friday in the RoCo Upstairs gallery space! Stop by to view new portraits of Rochester creatives, and meet the artist.

About the project: Entanglement is a major new drawing by artist Susan Begy that spotlights Rochester’s diverse creative community. The project was launched for RoCo’s State of the City exhibition this fall, and highlights the significance and contributions of a strong, connected creative community to any given city. Individual portraits of Rochester creatives are entwined by a process of erasing and adding graphite in a sinewy, twisting fashion. An essential component of the project is that each featured artist choose the next participant — someone whose work they think has greatly contributed to the community, or that they highly regard, or who has been meaningful to their work.

Regular gallery admission applies ($2 / Free for Members and Students with valid ID)
