Flowers were my first love and were some of the first things I ever painted. I’ve heard the line that ‘Flowers are my favorite color’. That is so true for me!! I do believe that most everything that is good can be represented as a flower. I think that is one reason that the sunflower has become such a strong element as the symbol of freedom for the Ukraine. Flowers can say many things that words cannot.
My dad, as an avid gardener, cultivated my love for flowers; and the fact that I grew up in New York with its long winters, made spring for me such a glorious season of rebirth and renewal.
This collection of florals is wide ranging in style and certainly varied in size from a 4×6 photo print to 30×48 inch oil. Over 30 pieces will be displayed. A special sale will be a highlight and I only do two sales a year, one in spring and one at Halloween!

My name is Jodie Marie Anne Richardson Traugott and I use all my initials as my galley, business name and website, jm-ART.com
I’m a part of the Central Creatives at the Piano Works Mall, at 349 West Commercial Street, East Rochester 14445
Enter through the red door between the Weaving Arts Guild and Penn Fair Golf, towards the left of the mall. Then just follow the signs to the second floor; I am in the first suite on the right after you exit the stairs or elevator, #2700 which I share with Sylvia’s Art Spot. There’s plenty of free parking. Covid masks are still requested for all visitors. Thank you for your cooperation.
