Join us as we showcase the work of our students from our Building Memorable Characters For The Stage course taught by our guest artist, Adele Fico. In this course, students worked on developing characters for improv, sketch, straight plays, and stand-up comedy.

ADELE M. FICO is active in all aspects of theatre as a performer, writer, director, and producer. She has worked with many theatrical companies including: Geva Theatre, Blackfriars Theatre, JCC CenterStage, TYKES and Rochester Children’s Theatre. She is one of the founders of the award-winning, sketch comedy troupe, EstroFest, she was elected to the Rochester Theater Hall of Fame and her contributions to the arts have been recognized by the National Women’s Hall of Fame and the National Museum of Motherhood. Her professional career includes positions with Geva Theatre, WXXI Public Broadcasting Council, Rochester Fringe Festival, and Rochester’s School of the Arts where she served as the Arts Center Director.
