At the age 6 years, my father gave me a paint-by-number set. I sat there, duty bound to fill in all those little numbers, wondering just what the final result would be. As my father was an accomplished artist himself, he would enter the kitchen and look over my struggles. “What are you painting?” was the question given to me. “I’m not sure at this point,” I replied. He turned over the canvas board and said, “paint on this side, it will be better.” I still see that gray cardboard looking me in the face to this day. I never stopped painting and still enjoy the educational development. I have had the good fortune to travel to many countries and the museums in each of them. My paintings are from India, Belgium, Hungary, Puerto Rico, and many of the states in this country. The Rochester Art Club, Hungerford Building #437, 1115 E.
