Glass Mountains by Sean McFarland (Project Space Exhibit-Closing)
Visual Studies Workshop
31 Prince St.
Mar 6, 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

There are several modes of viewing the landscape: in person directly, indirectly through books, magazines, maps and scientific documentation, and through the work of others. To McFarland, no one form of sight is more pure than another. His exhibition in the Project Space builds upon a body of work, Glass Mountains, which consists of installations and collections of photographs presenting nature as literal artifice. At 8pm, Sean is raising the moon in VSW’s Auditorium space. Come enjoy a drink to this lunar phenomenon and experience the landscape this winter while staying warm indoors! There will be live music by VSW’s own John Lake with special guests starting at 9pm. Free and open to the public.
