Gallery R presents an exhibition of graduating seniors from the Fine Arts Studio Program in the School of Art at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Liminal Madness, an exhibition featuring the thesis work of senior fine art studio students, opens with a reception from 6 – 9 p.m. on April 3rd, and runs through April 19th. Liminal Madness is a celebration of the hard work and achievements of a group of graduating fine art students as they begin the next phase of their journey as young emerging artists. The exhibition incorporates a variety of processes including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and installation. As the capstone event of their study at RIT, the work contains a range of conceptual, aesthetic and material explorations. The exhibition showcases the work of 10 gradating seniors and encompasses a wide range of subjects, incorporating autobiographical, cultural, religious and environmental themes. The exhibition features a range of media including abstract prints and paintings, collage, and fabricated and found object sculptures.

The following artists are featured in the show: Rebecca Allen, Jennifer Carrozza, Angela Carter, Neena Suresh, Logan Jones, Matthew Kay, Taylor Kennedy, Laurie Monahan, Patrick Morabito and Kayla Spafford.
