Feb 5, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a reception with our Project Space artist Luna Galassini.

Galassini works as a transcriptionist for the LA County district attorney’s office and has browsed prison message boards and studied Google Maps to pinpoint the location of a drive-by shooting more times than she can count. In the Project Space she will be working with the found material of these interrogations, witness interviews, and jail phone calls to further her attempts at bridging the gap between personal experience, the visual vernacular of the digital world, and the stories on which she eavesdrops on a daily basis.

Luna Galassini is an artist based in Rochester, New York. Her photographs have been exhibited at the University of Rochester (“Four Men with Backs to Camera,” 2014) and the Genesee Center for the Arts and Education. She holds a BA from Bennington College.
