Opening Reception of State of the City 2022
Rochester Contemporary Art Center
137 East Ave.
Oct 7, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This First Friday, RoCo’s occasional exhibition series State of the City returns after a two-year hiatus! This year’s exhibition features three artists who explore the architecture, public art, and community that define Rochester. Through painting, photography, and socially-oriented drawing, they engage with the buildings, the art, and the people that shape our creative culture. As the pandemic, technology, and media increasingly inform how we engage with each other, the projects featured in this exhibition invite us to physically come together and share what makes our city and our community so special.

Join us for the Opening Reception to see the exhibition, enjoy refreshments, and meet the artists: Susan Begy, Quajay Donnell, and Emiliano Diaz.
