Printmaking & Photography Arts Residency Show
Flower City Arts Center
713 Monroe Ave.
Oct 7, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Please join us at 713 Monroe Ave for the Opening Reception of two new exhibitions featuring work from our Artists-In-Residence:

“Process” showcases work from four interdisciplinary artists, Evan Bobrow, Jessica Cheng, Lailee Josephine, and Skyla Pisciotti, who use the process-heavy techniques of printmaking to explore mindfulness, identity, trauma, and perception. Over the course of their residencies, the artists have considered these ideas and experimented with a variety of mark making and printmaking techniques, culminating in four unique bodies of work.

“Fungi: Photogram to Photogravure” showcases the work of photographer Donald Hyatt. “Mushrooms embody a sense of the unknown,” says Hyatt. “Much like my process of photography, foraging for mushrooms is a search for something that may or may not be there. Rooted in the present moment when I search for these beautiful beings of curiosity, my time foraging is full of reflection and joy.”

This event is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you!
