Victor Artist Laurence E. Keefe is Featured Artist for May
Pittsford Fine Art
4 N Main St.
May 7, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Watercolor artist Laurence E. Keefe, whose work focuses on local lakes and landscapes, is the featured artist for May at Pittsford Fine Art. Keefe is a founding member of this artist-run gallery, which is open six days a week in the heart of the village of Pittsford.

Keefe’s enthusiasm for watercolor painting began when he first saw the work of Rochester master artist Ralph Avery on the covers of national magazines. “I realized you could make great art anywhere, including here in upstate New York,” the Victor-based artist said. When Keefe decided to wrap up a career in marketing for international corporations, he attended numerous workshops by nationally renowned artists, but also studied under some of this area’s most notable artists, including Jeanne Lindsay, Brian O’Neill, Pat Tribastone, Dick Kane and Paul Allen Taylor.

Pittsford Fine Art, a gallery owned and run by 13 prominent painters from Rochester to Ithaca, is open Tuesday through Thursday, 12-6pm; Friday, noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available in front of the gallery, at 4 North Main Street, or at the nearby public parking lot. Find Pittsford Fine Art on the web and on Facebook.

Masks and social distance are required, with adherence to a gallery capacity limit. We thank you in advance for your patience.
