From true-to-life representations to abstract and conceptual self portraits, these artists depict who they are now in our personal and social culture. As ‘selfies’ have become everyday expressions, these artists explore the role of self-portraiture and how has it shifted through the history of art to 2019. On view are works in drawing, painting, encaustic, mixed-media, photography, fiber art and sculpture. This year our participants have doubled from 30 to 60 artists!
