First Friday is a monthly citywide gallery night that encourages collaboration between small & mid-sized art venues in Rochester, NY. This initiative showcases area artists and smaller arts institutions by promoting the First Friday evening of each month from 6-9pm as a community night for experiencing art. Most events are focused on the visual arts.
Want to Join? Participating venues have agreed to:
1. Participate in most First Fridays, staying open from at least 6-9pm.
2. Promote First Friday with the logo on printed matter and a link to the First Friday website on their website and in social media posts. This is very important. When all participating venues are promoting First Friday we are all promoting each other!
3. Contribute a $100 participation fee each year toward the development and maintenance of this citywide initiative.
