Axom Gallery proudly presents Lanna Pejovic with a solo exhibition of her most recent work, “The Wooded Landscape” in the warm setting of our contemporary showroom.

Lanna’s work is inspired by the landscape with which she has grown intimate, a trail along Honeoye Creek that meanders through the woods in Honeoye Falls, where she lives. Dappled light, the sounds of birds calling and the changing seasons through time all play a part in her painting experience.

“Landscape is a multisensory, multidimensional experience for me, and this path has provided me with a rich set of sensory details to work with in forming a visual expression that has the quality of a lyrical composition. The patterns and repetitive character of music is analogous to what I like to do in painting; compose the shapes and colors in a way that emphasizes the rhythm and movement that I experience in nature.” – Lanna Pejovic
