Pittsford’s Suzi Zefting-Kuhn calls herself a self-taught artist. But what that description leaves out is her decades of study under multiple mentors, many of them nationally and internationally recognized artists, and her own role in bringing top talent to Rochester to teach other artists.

Zefting-Kuhn is the featured artist for December at Pittsford Fine Art, the artist-run gallery she joined one year ago. Her art will be featured at the gallery throughout the month, and she will be at the gallery for First Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

The gallery is open on Fridays from noon to 8 pm; check the website (pittsfordfineart.com) for other hours. Parking is available in front of the gallery, at 4 North Main Street, or at the nearby public parking lot.
