Join us this First Friday for an evening with Rochester artist Sonny Rosario, whose detailed ink, graphite, and digital works capture the architecture, neighborhoods, and everyday beauty of the city she calls home.

Born and raised in Rochester to a Seneca mother and Puerto Rican father, Sonny creates work rooted in place, memory, and community. Alongside her artistic practice, she is the owner of La Botanika, an herbal wellness service, and is a passionate advocate for mothers, Latinas, people in recovery, and women transitioning out of incarceration.

Her artwork has been exhibited throughout Rochester, including at Behind the Glass, Frank’s Chop Shop, The Yards, Little Shop of Hoarders, and the Memorial Art Gallery.
