Join Happy Earth Tea for their inaugural First Friday event featuring local artist Clayton Davis, Arts major at SUNY Oneonta, exhibiting his artwork and photographs.

Working in black and white across mediums, Clayton Davis portrays nature and humanity colliding. In an age of poor craftsmanship and quick automated results, Davis removes all modern sensibilities and beckons his viewer to see the world through his unique perspective. Using vintage photography gear and old film printing techniques, his photographs reflect time, presence, beauty, and vestiges of past lives. His ink and charcoal works show these same themes but at a macro scale. Slowly and with intent he marks his canvas with lines and etchings that result in a coupling of nature and industry and the passage of time between both.
