Overspray features the work of longtime graffiti artists and collaborators Airen and Nova, exploring the intersection of graffiti, abstraction, and the transformation of existing artwork. The exhibition showcases individual pieces alongside a series of collaborative works created through an ongoing process of deconstruction and reconstruction. Nova creates the original painted panels, which both artists then cut apart. Airen then rearranges the fragments and repaints them into new geometric compositions. Blending both artists’ practices, the exhibition treats each piece as something that can be continually altered, resulting in works that exist somewhere between graffiti, abstraction, collage, and sculpture.

This exhibition continues through September 26.

Airen’s artwork is also on display concurrently in a solo exhibition at RoCo.
