Amy McLaren’s recent project explores secrecy and sharing via sock puppets — integrating humor, introspection and the darker nuances of wanting to be seen and heard (but maybe through the safety of anonymity). This show brings together recent work in oil painting, drawing, performance and installation, and will be fresh off her event at the Rochester Fringe Festival. McLaren is currently senior lecturer in the School of Art at RIT.
