Nancy makes art with felt. Her process involves first wet-felting a background mat by rolling, squeezing, and pounding dyed fleece with soap and water, then drawing on top of it with a barbed needle, punching color into the surface layer by layer over many weeks. The results have the images and texture of the places that inspired them: France, Japan, Costa Rica.
