Jaedan Booker is an 11-year-old 5th grader at Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts in Rochester, NY. Jaedan began his love for the arts at the age of four, beginning with music. Because Jaedan was non-verbal, he would use beats and sounds to communicate. Though quiet and unassuming to the outside world, Jaedan is a very hardcore and tenacious artist. As he began to grow, so did his talent. He began expressing himself through illustration. He began drawing the Feelings Chart to let his family know how he felt. Jaedan would put great detail into the expressions, and his family realized he had an extraordinary talent. Drawing his inspiration from animation, being well-read, and everyday life, Jaedan is as versatile as they come. Jaedan’s determination and perseverance has led him to be admired by his peers and adored by teachers and administrators alike. Jaedan aspires to be a great artist when he grows up, but he is well on his way!
