“A Roc Moment” captures a pivotal point in time and history. This exhibition marks the fifth anniversary of the life-altering COVID-19 pandemic which abruptly halted life as we knew it, isolating us indoors with our family or alone in solitude.

In Spring 2020, photographer Renée Veniskey was inspired to capture this very real moment in time — A Roc Moment of drive-by birthday parties, grandmas waving through a window, and families cuddling close with their pets and one another on front porches. Renee’s camera lens allowed her to stay at a distance while documenting real life in real time, and those moved by her photographs made donations to charities in need, paying forward the emotion and power of a captured Roc Moment.
