AXOM Objects, our new retail showroom where art meets design, will have a special guest for First Friday. Jet Casipe, from Toronto based Gus* Modern, the booming Canadian furniture company whose name is becoming synonymous for cool domestic design will be here to meet and greet. Launched in Toronto by a husband and wife team, this collection, of understated, modern-but-warm furniture, is inspired by simple forms and honest materials and is distinctly North American. The rising popularity of Gus*Modern is their ability to produce high quality, stylishly comfortable and incredibly practical contemporary furniture that is both affordable and readily available from their Toronto warehouse.
