Artist Sam “Wallyo” Cicero works primarily in acrylics on canvas. As a cartoonist and graffiti artist from a young age he traded his markers and spray cans for pallets and brushes in 2011 going through phases of creation his whole life. The subjects of his paintings range from struggle of good and evil to realistic or surreal portraits of people and animals to skewed depictions of movie and comic book characters. With family as Wallyo’s motivation he takes any requests for commissions leaving no room for a comfort zone in this artists’ journey.
