Dec 1, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

In May of this year Pittsford Fine Art member Suzi Zefting-Kuhn and four other local artists from the Rochester area traveled to South Africa for a grand painting and travel adventure hosted by Workshops in SA. The workshop participants were treated to four- and five-star accommodations, safaris and gorgeous scenery. Suzi arrived back home with over a thousand photos and much inspiration. The paintings completed so far will be premiered at the gallery in the month of December. The work will feature oils of the wildlife, the people, and the scenery from the Cape Winelands and the three game reserves she visited. She has much more reference to paint in the coming year and will be displayed at Pittsford Fine Art upon completion.

Suzi Zefting-Kuhn is a Pittsford resident. She maintains an art studio with members of the group she founded fourteen years ago called the Main Street Artists Gallery and Studio in the Fedder Building at 1237 E. Main St. Suzi is a past President of the Rochester Art Club, a patron member of the Portrait Society of America, Signature member of the National Association of Women Artists, member of the National Acrylic and Oil Painters Society, the Pastel Society of Western New York and the Mill Art Center. Suzi is mostly self-taught but has had the privilege of studying briefly with nationally acclaimed artists that she has brought to Rochester to teach as the Workshop Coordinator for the Rochester Art Club.

Suzi’s work is realistic and she works mainly in oil and pastel. Her favorite subjects are people and animals. Besides Pittsford Fine Art you can see her work on her website at Suzi does commissions.

Suzi Zefting-Kuhn will be present at the gallery Friday December 1st 5-8pm and would love to show you what has been keeping her happy and busy for the past five months.
