Lynda Begy-Beckley is an artist, an author, an influencer, and course creator. She started drawing roses at five years of age. Her first art training was in realism when art was her major at Nazareth Academy. She won an award for her macrame from Rochester Instruments Systems, during a competition called “On Your Own Time” for her macrame work on a piece of driftwood From Lake Ontario.
Lynda relocated to Orlando, FL for two decades. There she enjoyed the ocean and had the privilege of meeting the late, great artist Jerry Lanham. He became her mentor in a new style of art – breaking from realism into a colorful whimsical art style. She carries on his art style in her most recent colorful whimsy art, The Girl With a Parasol, and similar fine art.
