Opening Reception: Sketching Rochester’s Revolutionary Roots

Join us for the opening reception for Sketching Rochester’s Revolutionary Roots, an exhibit exploring Rochester’s connections to the American Revolution and its legacy. The exhibit features original artwork by Penfield’s J. Erwin Porter on loan from the New York State Museum and artifacts from several local collections. Explore the exhibit, see historical interpreters in period dress, meet the curators, and enjoy some light refreshments. Presented by the Office of Rochester & Monroe County History; Rochester Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution; and Irondequoit Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
