Portals to Empathy – Featured Artist Exhibition

Through hand-drawn digital paintings that merge iris imagery with celestial environments, Rochester-based digital artist Krisandra Kneer explores the relationship between perception and lived experience. Her work examines how adversity, joy, and personal history shape how we see the world and how empathy can emerge when we begin to recognize those unseen narratives in others.

This exhibition introduces signed prints from her ongoing body of work focused on human consciousness, interconnectedness, and creating visibility for stories often left unheard.

Through her art initiative iRiseWeRise.art, Kneer donates 20% of profits to nonprofits serving underserved communities. During April, proceeds will support Willow Domestic Violence Center, Refugees Helping Refugees, and Rochester LGBTQ+ Together.
