Rachel Farley is inspired by the natural works around her, flora and fauna. As a gardener and artist, she seamlessly translates her life in the gardens to paper and print. Her intricate linework is emotional and moving, displaying a reverence for the natural world. Rachel creates environments in that are reminiscent of art nouveau and botanical study. Currently, Rachel works at both a flower farm & community garden and spends time in the print shop!
Emily Tyman creates whimsical prints inspired by vintage & children’s book illustrations. Her work explores the balance between innocence and the awareness of identity. Emily’s pieces are about finding peace within relationships with friends, family, partners, or yourself. She aims to connect to the lonely, defeated, and ever-hopeful romantic. She draws inspiration from memories, cycles of relationships, and their processes of beginning, ending, or continuing. Emily’s work encompasses the feeling of heartbreak and being vulnerable. Currently, she is an adjunct professor teaching painting classes at the University of Rochester and building a beautiful body of her art!
