Still, Moving: A Firefly Meditation by Katharine Torgersen is an immersive light installation inspired by summer evenings spent observing fireflies. Through illuminated painted-glass sculptures and field recordings, the exhibition transforms the space into a contemplative environment that invites visitors to slow down and reconnect with themselves and the natural world. The work explores stillness not as stagnation, but as a space for reflection, healing, and renewal – suggesting that moving forward sometimes begins by simply being present.
