The Colors of Aruba Featuring Marie Costanza
Image City Photography Gallery
722 University Ave.
Oct 3, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Aruba, often described as “an island painted in brilliance,” serves as the inspiration for Costanza’s work. Through The Colors of Aruba, she captures the island’s fiery sunsets, shifting seas of blue, and the vivid hues that define daily life. Her lens turns toward both nature and architecture: from pelicans, kestrels, lapwings, and owls whose plumage echoes the drama of the skies, to pastel facades and bold-toned buildings that celebrate human creativity in harmony with the landscape.
“Together, these images weave a narrative of place,” Costanza shares, “one where sea and sky, feather and stone, sail and silhouette all converge in a dialogue of light and hue. My hope is that The Colors of Aruba invites viewers to experience the island’s spirit—alive in color, alive in wonder, alive in every fleeting moment.”
The Colors of Aruba invites viewers to immerse themselves into a world of light, hue, and spirit. Whether through the elegant flight of an egret, the watchful curiosity of a burrowing owl, or the fiery glow of a Caribbean horizon, this exhibition offers a visual journey into the beauty and vitality of Aruba.
Guests are invited to meet the artist and experience her striking collection in person.
