Tribute to the Human Figure
Nu Movement
716 University Ave.
Feb 2, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Ten painters and sculptors exhibit figure drawings that have been created over decades; Nu Movement Cooperative Studio and Gallery is hosting the figure drawings of Alan Brewen, Axel Kairies, Sharon Locke, Dejan Pejovic, Lana Pejovic, Jono Peterson, Debbie Phillips, Irving Pudetti, Gail Thomas and Jim Thomas. All work are life drawings of the human figure from observation of a live model. The human figure is one of the most enduring theme in visual arts. One of the intentions of this exhibit is to bring greater awareness to the public of the creative interpretations possible in drawing the human form. “I have known each of these artist for years, we all are friends, respect each other’s work, and are looking forward to exhibiting together.” -Sharon Locke
