Two for the price of one (nothing nada, zilch, FREE)…

The Pittsford UPSTAIRS Gallery will open two exhibitions for July’s First Friday, Gates-Chili teacher and Nazareth University adjunct professor Kelly Hanning will be the gallery’s summer Guest Artist, with an exhibit of her prints opening July 7. Recent Pittsford Sutherland grad Annalise Borrelli will have her first solo exhibition of drawings and paintings in the gallery’s “Community Room,” also opening at July’s First Friday.

Kelly is a printmaker with work curated in collections in 12 states, and is an active leader of the Rochester region’s art educators’ association, as well as being active in the higher ed arena, presenting at national conferences for the Association of Educational Research (AERA), and publishing peer-reviewed articles. Anna was a multi-year award winning student entrant in the local Paint Pittsford art shows and competitions held by Pittsford Fine Art in 2020 and 2021, and will study product design in the Fall at SUNY Buffalo/Buff State.

An Opening Reception for Anna will be held July 7 from 5-8 PM at 4 North Main Street in the heART of Pittsford Village, UPSTAIRS.

A Closing Reception for Kelly will be held in September. Her work will remain on exhibit for three months, July through September.

Pittsford UPSTAIRS Gallery is proud to showcase the work of local artists, art educators, and art students alongside the work of 22 local fine craft artists working in wood, metal, glass, clay, paint, print, jewelry and fiber. 45 LOCAL artists show their work every week at 4 North Main Street in the heART of Pittsford Village.
