About the artist:
Hi! My name is Violet Al-Yaseri. I am a half-Nigerian half-Iraqi artist from Maryland. I am currently in my 3rd year studying Illustration and 2D Studio Art at R.I.T. If I could use one word to describe my work it would be color! Color is very important because it helps show how I view life around me. My series “In Full Bloom,” is about finding myself and connecting to nature again. While making this series I realized how strongly nature played in my healing process and being in tune with my emotions. I have always been in awe how plants bloom in due time. I believe nature shows us how to heal and become anew again.
